PB Financial is involved in various organizations and nonprofit companies, on both a local, community level and national level.
LPL PAC – LPL Financial has a Government Relations team that advocates for governmental policies affecting the delivery of objective financial guidance and advice. Specifically, the LPL Political Action Committee supports members of the House of Representatives and the Senate who promote the business goals and objectives of independent business owners and financial advisors. Advisors within LPL are able to participate both locally and nationally. It is a way for the community of LPL to have a say in the governmental policies affecting their work and clients.
Association of Financial Educators – AFE is a nationwide 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational bureau comprised of financial professionals committed to educating their communities on the topic of financial literacy. They are the market leader for providing free educational workshops throughout North America to companies of all sizes in every sector. For PB Financial in particular, we are committed to working within our local community of Denver to educate individuals, students, professionals, and businesses about the world of finance and empower them to take control of their financial well-being.
CFP ® Mentor Program – The CFP ® Mentor Program connects CFP ® Board members with mentees working towards their CFP ® membership. Mentors work to help mentees practice time management, enhance their study skills, and prepare for the CFP ® Exam, all the while working to further develop their habits for a successful professional future. The CFP ® Mentor Program is an opportunity for Board members to give back to their community by advising professionals working towards the next step in their financial career.
